The Harris Hawks Funday took place at DISC on Saturday 30th August. The aim of the day was to introduce the club to those attending our coaching sessions at Harris Academy and the feeder primary schools of Blackness, Park Place and Ancrum Road. The event was also publicised in the local press and open to young players from other schools who do not currently have contact with Harris F.P. While the turnout was lower than expected (and hoped for) those who did attend enjoyed themselves tremendously and were each provided with a T-Shirt, burger and drinks. To build on this event youth training begins on Friday 5th August at DISC (17:30-19:00). Thanks to Clubsport, Scott Brothers and Morrisons for their kind donations to support this event.
